Message from the General Overseer
Psalms 145:3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
The year 2024 is a year of celebration and thanksgiving for the entire Ministries of Bethel Temple. As we go down memory lane our hearts are filled with joy when we come to realize how far God has brought this ministry which was given birth to as a result of a crusade held in the then Brookfields Recreational Grounds in 1967. Since her inception Bethel Temple Ministries has been growing horizontally and today we have branches in the Western Area of Freetown and also in the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Provinces of Sierra Leone. We praise and thank our God. Indeed great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.
Later this year we shall be celebrating the 55th anniversary of the dedication of the first church building of the ministry. We have drawn up a couple of events to mark this epic celebration which will run throughout this year from January to November. We give praise to our God. Indeed great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.
Psalms 145:3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. The enormousness of the grandness of God is illimitable and just seems to go on and on. God’s greatness is revealed in His Character and attributes.His unsearchable greatness, His glorious magnificence, His mighty rule, and the grandeur of His kingdom are disclosed in this Psalms. In subsequent verses of Psalms 145:3 David mentions that God’s greatness is seen over His care of His people. This Ministry has gone through tough, challenging and contrasting times. We have gone through: Mountain and valley experiences; Pleasant and very unpleasant experiences; and the like, but through it all God has been there for us - caring for us and lifting us. David declared “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. ” (Psalm 145:18-19).We give praise and thanks to God. Indeed great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.
I want to encourage all to declare this year 2024 as a year of celebrating the greatness of God and praising God. Let us come to God in full assurance knowing He cares for us. David said “The Lord preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy. My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.” (Psalm 145:20-21). As we declare God’s greatness and praise Him throughout 2024 I want to assure everyone that 2024 will be our year of delivery. God shall deliver our full package of healing, breakthrough, deliverance, and victory. We give praise and thanks to God . Indeed great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.
Finally,, I want all of us to take the same position as David “My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord, and all flesh shall bless His holy name Forever and ever” (Psalm 145:21). May God bless us throughout 2024
